Anyone Can Make This Simple Gimbap Recipe!

Korean sushi rolls, or Gimbap, are a tasty and easy dish that you can prepare at home using staple items. Regardless of your level of experience with Korean cooking, this recipe is ideal for a simple yet filling supper. How to do it is as follows:

 

Ingredients:

  • Seaweed sheets, or gimbap gim.
  • Rice (seasoned with salt and sesame oil)
  • Carrots, cucumbers, pickled radish, eggs, and your preferred protein (such as tuna, tofu, or beef) are examples of fillings.

    Actions:

    1. Prepare the rice: After cooking the rice and allowing it to cool, add some sesame oil and salt to taste.
    2. Prepare fillings: Sauté the protein, scramble the eggs, and stir-fry or blanch your vegetables.
    3. Put Together: After spreading the rice equally and laying the seaweed sheet with its glossy side down, layer the fillings.
    4. Roll: Tightly roll the gimbap, pressing as you roll, using a bamboo mat.
    5. Slice and serve: Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve with wasabi or soy sauce on the side.

    Tips

    • Try different fillings! To customize it, you can add avocado, cheese, or kimchi.
